v1.10.0 New

The last cards you looked up, your collection and your watchlist stay on your phone, so one bar of signal in a convention hall still gets you a value, with its age said once at the top. Pro's watchlist ceiling rose from 200 to 1,000 cards.

The measured reality of a convention centre is one bar of signal and a queue of people waiting. The app already installed to a phone, but every value was a live fetch, so it was closest to useless exactly where it was most needed.

Now the phone keeps the last cards you looked up, up to sixty, plus a copy of your collection and your watchlist, each under the account it belongs to. When the network cannot answer, the page shows the kept answer and says so in one line at the top: Offline. Showing the value, trend and forecast from 3 hours ago. The age is re-read every minute. The Buyer and Seller numbers and the chart are the kept ones, never recomputed from a guess; a test holds them against a clock sixty days on, and they do not move.

What the kept copy refuses to do matters as much. Nothing is written while you are offline: every control that would save something stays where it is, disabled, with the reason in its tip, because a control that silently did nothing would be worse than one that says why. Nothing is queued to replay later. A live answer always wins: a refusal from the server is the real answer and is never replaced by a kept one, and only a server that could not be asked at all counts as offline.

The same day the watchlist ceiling for Pro went from 200 to 1,000 cards, and the revaluation that keeps each watch fresh was repaced to carry it, with a line on every watch saying when it was last priced. A week later the Show Pack built on the same idea: the stored answers for your collection and watchlist, downloaded to the phone before you leave for the show.
